About the event
It can always be much worse than losing a game of football.
But we can still be frustrated and disappointed when our entertainment lets us down. What helps offset a loss are seeing familiar faces and the conversations had during the match. We aren’t alone.
With some luck, Wednesday’s match will be a formality. Liverpool Football Club needs the Champions League and the Champions League needs Liverpool Football Club.
“Just f*cking win.”
See yous at the Irish Times, Reds 🧨
